Have you ever shopped based on color? Often, I will seek out new pieces with a hue in mind, or because I feel a certain color is underrepresented in my wardrobe. That’s how I discovered this red Madewell top and skirt at Nordstrom. I was on the hunt for something red for spring, and these pieces seriously jumped off the page! I knew they would be perfect for my recent trip to Dallas. Not only did I love catching up with old friends, but it was great to take-in the Texas weather, especially on our last day in town. It was sunny, warm, and not too humid. This outfit was perfect for soaking up the rays and spending time with my best blogger friends.
