For the past year or so, I’ve been traveling. A lot. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always loved a fun getaway, but my full-time job has become much more travel-focused, resulting in frequent domestic and international flights. I’ve gone from silently dreading plane rides a few years ago to priding myself on memorizing every corner of Terminal 1 at O’Hare.

For the longest time, I’ve used a traditional set of high-end luggage which has been dependable and durable, but it always missed the mark on one key factor: weight. Even empty, my old luggage was way too heavy. I have been longing to get a lightweight, hard-sided set of bags, but I had no idea which direction to take. It wasn’t until my recent trip to Finland where Carly and Ashley were toting the cutest pink carry-ons by AWAY. Prior to the trip, I had seen Danielle and Grace post about how they loved their bags, and when I saw them in person, I knew they would be the perfect replacement set. After returning from Finland, I reached out to the brand, and they were kind enough to partner with me. Although I did receive AWAY luggage, I have not been compensated otherwise, and they have not asked me to write anything specific. They just asked that I’d share my experiences.

After using my AWAY bags to travel to Dallas, New York, Mexico City, and now to Serbia (more of this current trip on Insta Stories), I can honestly say that I love this new set of luggage. First, and most importantly, it’s extremely lightweight. I have packed them to their absolute capacity and have been way under the weight limits for checked luggage every time. This was never the case with my old bags. Previously, I always had to edit and reedit my packing to make sure I didn’t go over the 50 pound limit. This “weight loss” has made loading the bags in and out of taxis, luggage carts, and hotel rooms SO much easier.

Also, I love how the interiors are organized. One side of the luggage is for folded clothes, complete with a compression panel and straps, while the other side has a mesh zippered cover for loose items like shoes, toiletries, travel steamer, etc. The bags have integrated TSA locks along with four wheels. This is a major upgrade from my old two-wheeled set, and I no longer have to keep buying new luggage locks when the old ones magically disappear after a flight. Best of all, the carry-on size has an integrated battery for charging your phone with an extra USB port for a friend! Genius. If you’re in the market for a new lightweight, reasonably-priced, durable set of luggage, look no further!

Lastly, if you’re in the Chicago-area, and want to test out their pieces, the Madewell store on Rush Street is hosting an AWAY pop-up shop from May 16th through May 19th.

So inspired by Caitlin’s bedroom makeover. That pink bench is everything!

So, Coach bought kate spade new york for a couple billion dollars. Seeing that she’s worked for both companies, I appreciate Courtney’s take on this news.

I just recently received these Mansur Gavriel shoes. I’m loving the vintage aesthetic, and I can’t wait to pair them with an outfit for the blog!

Hallie put together the perfect spring look – I’m “green” with envy, lol!

Jess and Pam’s Panama travel guides {here + here} are giving me all of the feels.

Loving this pale blue polka dot blue dress on Jessica!

How pretty is Rach’s floral dress with black trim?!
