Happy Monday – hope you had a great weekend! It was so good to be home after a long work trip to London. Friday night was spent downtown celebrating the opening of the Christian Dior Chicago boutique. Lately, whenever there’s amazing Windy City event, I’m either out of town or have another conflict. Needless to say, I was thrilled to attend. Even better, the team at Dior was kind enough to send me this gorgeous bag to wear. The evening was also the perfect opportunity to spend time with some stylish and wonderful women like Kit and Blake, among so many others.
I love that the brand has modernized this classic Lady Dior bag for fall, and the color couldn’t be more perfect! In fact, the bag’s original name was “Chouchou,” but after Princess Diana began wearing it in multiple colors, the French fashion house renamed it the Lady Dior bag. Also, they only sell the Lady Dior bag in their own boutiques, never at department stores or other retailers. The Christian Dior Chicago boutique has so many options of their inimitable handbags. Naturally, I’ve created a personal wishlist after seeing them in person! In addition to handbags, the Chicago location also carries Dior’s ready-to-wear collection, shoes, and other accessories.
