What to Wear on a Business Trip

Style Charade Steamline Luggage

Later today, I will return home to Chicago after a quick 36-hour business trip to New York City. Given how much I travel for work, I have become accustomed to finding outfits that can pull double (if not, triple) duty. In an ideal world, I would always wear my favorite leggings and a comfy sweater on every single flight. OK, who am I kidding? In my truly ideal world, I’d be in this Carolina Herrera gown, lol!

In all seriousness, a dress that can be comfortable enough to wear on a plane, in a taxi, and then straight into a board room can be hard to find. Recently, I added this Eliza J contrast stripe dress to my travel wardrobe. I’ve been a fan of the brand for years, and so many of their pieces have become go-to’s for work and travel. This sweater dress knit is comfortable without being too casual, and the pop of color is subtle enough for pretty much any occasion. This tie waist midi dress, and this long sleeve knit dress are also perfect for business trips!
