Well, we made it through the first week of August (is it just me, or is summer flying by?!) The warm weather always brings plenty of events and excitement, and I’m sharing some recent happenings on today’s Flashback Friday post!
As you might remember from last week’s post, I partnered with Harper’s Bazaar and Escada in support of Step Up. I was thrilled to style another Fall 2016 Escada look this week (which I shared on Instagram), and I absolutely loved all of the colors (no surprise there!) I paired the Escada pieces with my new favorite colorblock satchel, oversized mirrored aviators, and platform pumps. Currently, this exact coat, sweater, and pants are only available in-store, but I link to similar options in the scroll below!

In case you missed it (or if you were living under a very large rock), Lollapalooza was last weekend. In fact, it was the 25th anniversary of the music festival! Lolla has called Chicago “home” since 2005, and I was delighted to collaborate with Bud Light to celebrate their exclusive Lollapalooza can. Not only have I always considered myself more of a beer gal, but my husband’s uncle used to be head of advertising for Budweiser (remember those frogs?!) Beyond that, I’ll jump at any excuse to break out my picnic basket!
