From my very first trip to Miami in 2011, I completely fell in love with this sunny destination. I feel lucky to have returned a handful of times for both work and vacation over the years, exploring new parts of the city each trip. From South Beach to Brickell, Wynwood to Coral Gables, and beyond, there are endless things to do, places to eat, and people to meet! Miami has long been a global destination for artists and creatives alike. The annual international art fair, Art Basel is one of the most well-known Miami events, but galleries and museums alike showcase local and global talent each and every day.

Best of all, Miami has a robust street art scene with the Wynwood neighborhood as its epicenter. Each and every time I have been to Miami, there are new murals, colorful walls, and amazing public displays of art to discover! It’s been so wonderful to see how major companies and businesses have supported Miami art. From the creation of the Design District, the development of the Wynwood Arts District, and the construction of the Pérez Art Museum, Miami supports the arts in a robust and deliberate way.

While South Beach tends to be at the top of any tourist’s to-do list, the city has such a range of neighborhoods and areas to explore. I hope this Miami guide to street art, murals, and colorful walls helps you to venture out and explore! As always, feel free to ask any questions and offer up any additional information on the artists featured in the guide!
