Happy Tuesday! It’s so nice to be back home in Chicago after a weekend in Los Angeles. I must say, exiting O’Hare on Sunday night to grab a cab definitely caught me off guard! Going from 90+ degrees in California that afternoon to evening temps in the 40’s in Chicago was startling. Regardless, there’s no place like home, isn’t that right Toto?!?
Yesterday after work, I got together with my friend Kit, now that she’s back from her European adventure. It was great to catch up and hear all about her time in Spain and the U.K. I have a couple of international work trips this fall, and Kit always has the best travel tips and advice. Tonight, Bob and I are heading to Wrigley to see the Cubs game – so excited!
Today’s post features one of my favorite fall combinations, a mini skirt with over the knee boots. This navy plaid wool ruffle mini skirt is the perfect preppy addition to any closet. The fit is true to size, and it’s available in petite sizing as well. They also made it as a cute jacket! This Strathberry tote is available in so many colors, and the craftsmanship of the bag is seriously incredible. This Scottish handbag label has been a favorite of mine for years! They have an adorable “nano” size, too (as seen in this post). Lastly, I found a more affordable version of my Stuart Weitzman boots here. Hope your week is off to a lovely start!
