Pink Gingham Fit and Flare Midi Dress at a Nolita Floral Mural

Jennifer Lake Nolita Floral Mural

It’s been an amazing long weekend in New York! Yesterday, we slept in really late (i.e. 9:00 AM – lol), and then went out to grab breakfast in Williamsburg. Luckily the rain subsided just after lunchtime, and we were able to enjoy more of Brooklyn and Manhattan. One of my new favorite colorful spots in the city is this Nolita floral mural on Ludlow Street, which is in the side of the Yumi Kim boutique. Although it’s a fairly small space, the colors and design create a big impact! Kudos to Natasha May Platt on her creation.

Last night, we went out to dinner with Allie at The Mercer Kitchen in Soho. As always, it was so fun to catch up with her! She also made a really great point about how New York City really calms down on holiday weekends. Restaurant reservations are way easier to get, traffic is lighter, and everyone seems a bit more relaxed. So true! I hope wherever you spent your weekend, be it home or elsewhere, you had time to relax a bit as well.
