The Cutest San Francisco Flamingo Mural

San Francisco Street Art Guide

Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend! Today’s post includes the most cheerful San Francisco flamingo mural, which can be found in the Mission District of the city. Created by local street artist fnnch, this adorable mural is definitely one of my favorites in San Francisco! While it may not have the massive scale of the flamingo mural in Chicago, it’s no less smile-inducing. Also, this colorful wall is one of the most popular spots in San Francisco. When we were looking for parking nearby (no easy feat – lol!), I saw countless people stop for selfies and ask strangers to take their photo.

Furthermore, this flamingo mural (and those like it) is such a genius idea for local businesses. Media Noche, the restaurant who commissioned the work, is now a destination of sorts in the area. It seems like they put their own spin on Field of Dreams: “If you paint it, they will eat!” Genius!
