Growing up, my parents taught me the importance of always bringing a gift to someone’s house – especially for holiday parties (well, any time really)! It’s a family tradition, and one that I have tried to maintain in my adult years. We always found great joy in buying something small, yet special, to lift someone’s spirit.

Some of my go-to host/hostess gifts include a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a great bottle of wine, and even party decor. After all, who doesn’t love balloons, confetti, and party hats? When it’s a close friend, a fun piece of fashion jewelry does the trick – like these chic statement earrings or rhinestone leather choker.

Not only do I love unexpected party gifts, but I also adore unexpected party attire! These silver sequin leggings are one of my favorite finds of the season. Not only are they reasonably priced (under $80), but they pair well with EVERYTHING. I’ve been on the hunt for a pair for months, and I’m thrilled that I purchased this version! I’m also obsessed with this gorgeous lace button down shirt and black velvet blazer. Perfectly classic pieces that I’ll wear forever.

What are some of your favorite family traditions around the holidays?
