Happy Wednesday, friends! After a weekend in Los Angeles and an unforgettable United Airlines flight, I have been working from New York City this week. After landing at Newark airport late Monday afternoon, I was able to grab dinner with Allie and Dana at Old Rose. It was such a fun evening! Yesterday, my day was chock full of conference calls, client strategies, and various presentations. Naturally, I spent most of the day (and night) in my hotel room. Originally, Grace and I made plans to get together in Brooklyn. Instead, we rescheduled due to both of us having very full work days. She and I always have a blast when we hang out, so it was a bummer to have made a rain check. Nonetheless, it was a super productive evening, so that’s good!

Today, I’ll have more client meetings, conference calls, and a business dinner in the West Village. Ultimately, I fly back to Chicago on Thursday, and I can’t wait to spend the weekend at home! Since I stayed in my hotel all day yesterday, I’m hoping to grab a quick lunch somewhere fun today. If you have any restaurants recommendations east of 5th between 42nd and 59th, I’m all ears!

Today’s post includes the most gorgeous Eliza J floral lace sheath dress. I found it fits true to size, and it’s perfect for a weekend dinner date or special event. I love the romantic embroidered pattern!
