My Favorite Tie-Front Button Down Shirt

Stuart Weitzman Nudistsong Sandals

Remember how I said yesterday was a travel day and that I was departing for Mexico? Welllllll, slight change of plans. After some unexpected airline complications, I had to change my flight to today. I spent the better part of yesterday at O’Hare trying to standby for other options, but no luck. Cross your fingers that today’s departure goes as planned! The weather in Chicago looks like it will be a lot clearer, so that should help. Question: what do you tend to do when you’re stuck in an airport? Buy magazines? Catch up on email? People watch?

Today’s post includes my new favorite tie-front button down shirt. Since buying it a few weeks ago, I’ve worn it on the plane to LA, out to the movies, and at the office. It’s so versatile! I also have it in white, and it works perfectly as a part of a layered look with a long vest. This tropical mural was created for Urbanbelly via Graphic Alliance. If you’ve never eaten at Urbanbelly {or Belly Shack or BellyQ), put it at the top of your list! Lastly, I just updated the shop section of the blog – there are so many amazing new fall items in stores right now!
