MM LaFleur is a cult-favorite among busy working women who are balancing life, work, and everything in between. If you’re new to MM LaFleur, this workwear company started in 2013 by Miyako Nakamura, the former head designer of Zac Posen along with Narie Foster. They’ve been around for the past nine years and offering amazing work clothes for the ultimate work wardrobe. Several years ago, I was introduced to the brand when they opened in Chicago in the River North neighborhood. That location has since closed, but they continue to sell at other locations around the country. Today, I’m sharing my MM LaFleur review for workwear. After all, I’ve been working full-time for nearly two decades, and I’ve learned what’s needed to build a fabulous work wardrobe.

Beyond just offering great clothes for dressing for work, MM LaFleur fabrics are amazing. Think wrinkle resistant and machine washable fabrics. As someone who can’t stand dry cleaning or dry clean only apparel, I love the fact each piece is thoughtfully designed. Plus, MM LaFleur is size inclusive with styles available in OP-16.

Below, I’m sharing workwear pieces for every season that are versatile for different workplaces and personal styles.

I love how their workwear pieces make you look professional effortlessly. Looking to build a work wardrobe that makes dressing for work simple? Start with these items below.

As you may recall, I did a post about their most recent collection while visiting New York, and I’ve continued to wear these fabulous pieces on repeat! Today, I’m expanding on my recommendations for thoughtfully designed workwear pieces to expand your work wardrobe.

MMLaFleur Review For Workwear Dresses

Rashmeen Dress

First up is the Rashmeen Dress ($495), made out of washable silk in a marvelous minty green color (also available in Parchment, which is a light yellow color). Beyond the flattering silhouette, I love how comfortable and versatile the dress is for all occasions. It fits true to size on me, and it’s sold in sizes OP to size 18. Another favorite aspect of this style is the boatneck neckline and dolman sleeves.

There’s something effortless and elegant about the way it drapes around the body. Plus, the adjustable wrap-around tie at the waist makes it versatile. You can tie it loosely or more fitted depending on your preference.

Etusko Dress

Another great dress for your work wardrobe? The Etsuko Dress ($245), which is also machine washable, wrinkle resistant, and ideal for travel. It’s available in black or red, and sold in sizes 0P-16. Additionally, the Etsuko Dress features a 3/4 length sleeve and fabulous for all body types. Think bust-friendly, hips-friendly, middle-friendly, petite-friendly and everything in between!

Gali Dress

Are you surprised there’s another dress? Haha! I ADORE MM LaFleur’s Gali Dress ($365), a new arrival and instant classic. Additionally, I am obsessed with this meadow print made out of Italiant printed linen – perfect for spring. It’s a haute hint of a floral vibe without being too overt.

First, I love the puffed shape with side slits and pleats around the sleeves. Also, there’s a scoop in the back that’s not too deep enough so you can wear a bra with it. In typical MM LaFleur fashion, this dress is machine washable and available in sizes XS – XXL.

MM LaFleur Workwear Review Pants

Foster Pant

Another bestseller is the Foster Pant, which are machine-washable pants designed out of an Italian-cotton blend fabric. The key to these pants are the sketch and adjustable hems that allow you to switch the length from full-length to cropped. So smart! As someone who’s 5’4, I’m always keeping an eye out for a perfect length of the pants. Ankle length, you know? But the fact I can also crop this style is phenomenal. Moreover, I love when items are ideal for all body types.

The Foster Pant is available in eight colors for $245, including dark navy, black, ivory, dark olive, russet, saddle, bone, deep sea, and monsoon. For sizes, you’ll find sizes OP to 18. Pair it with the Sant Ambroeus Jardigan (below) blazer or a sophisticated and sleek T-shirt for a more casual look.

Milo Jean

Speaking of pants, I need to talk about the Milo Jean. I own the MM LaFleur Milo Jean ($245) in both black and tusk, and I can’t imagine my life without them! These jeans are incredibly comfortable, high-waisted, and unlike anything else in your closet. Moreover, the fabric is a Turkish two-way stretch cotton which seriously feels like you’re wearing pajamas.

As a sizing tip, I’d recommend sizing down as it tends to run a lit big (they’re offered in size OP to 18. Similar to the Foster Pant, the Milo Jean comes with adjustable hems so you can make the pant ankle length or cropped. There’s a concealed snap so you can wear the pants with heels and/or flats throughout the work day.

Sant Ambroeus Jardigan

Next up is the Sant Ambroeus Jardigan, their bestselling cardigan meets jacket. To be transparent, I haven’t been able to get my hands on this one yet. But if customer reviews are anything, this piece is an essential work clothes item. Based on my research, it has the classic silhouette of a typical jacket or blazer balanced with the soft, cozy fabric and stretch of cardigans. Brilliant!

The Sant Ambroeus Jardigan is available in four colors (black, ivory, latte, and navy) for $245. Similar to pieces above, it’s made out of wrinkle resistant fabric which makes it ideal for travel and work trips. Pair it with the Foster Pant, and your’e good to go!

One quick personal styling tip from their team – you can remove the shoulder pads from the jacket. The pads can be taken out via small hole near the internal seam of the shoulder. Also, if you’re looking for a longer jacket, I recommend the Merritt Jardigan ($265), which comes in even more colors in sizes XS to XXL.
