Say “Hi” to the New Shopbop Pop-Up Shop in Chicago

Jennifer Lake Shopbop

Windy City friends – Chicago just got even better! Welcome to the new Shopbop Pop-Up Shop – located in the Windy City’s thriving West Loop neighborhood and Fulton Market District. From now until June 29, 2025, shoppers can experience the amazing e-tailer IRL.

I was given an exclusive preview of the new pop-up shop. Friends, you are going to LOVE it! We were honored to be given a first look at the space via a fabulous party hosted by Shopbop and rag & bone. Prior to visiting, the Shopbop team was also kind enough to send me (and Bob!) looks from rag & bone’s new collection for the experience. Very classy (and we LOVE our looks!).

The evening was perfect – and we loved catching up with friends (both new and old!). Best of all, the pop-up experience doesn’t disappoint. The biggest challenge is not buying everything! 🙂

Shopbop Pop-Up Shop

For years, I loved being a Shopbop ambassador and working closely with the brand. After all, Bob attended the University of Wisconsin Madison, so I spent many days visiting (and shopping) at the original Shopbop store location. In every way possible, I love the fact Shopbop has Midwest roots. While the company is so much bigger now, I’m still thrilled to support the brand. They even have one of my favorite sales of the year.

Above all, I’m EXTREMELY thrilled they chose Chicago for their pop-up location. Countless brands overlook the Second City for markets like LA, Chicago, Miami, and San Francisco. Even Charleston is creeping up as a location brands select over Chicago. Now don’t get me wrong – I love all of those destinations. But for once, just once, I’m thrilled a brand finally chose us.

What are the Shopbop Pop-Up Shop Dates?

Enjoy the Shopbop pop-up shop from June 20-29, 2025. Think 100s of brands for both men and women, including Chicago’s very own AZEEZA. Check out the full calendar of brand activations and experiences HERE.

Where is it Located?

The new Shopbop pop-up is located at 309 N Morgan Street in Chicago. Basically, it’s across the street from Google’s headquarters. For lifelong Chicagoans, you’ll know street parking in the West Loop can be tricky (not to mention the horrible I-90/I-94 highway construction and traffic right now). Yikes.

Plus, valet and garage parking prices can be VERY expensive in the neighborhood. In my humble opinion, Uber or train is the best route. If you must park, I recommend checking SpotHero for great options. Booking a spot for several hours gives you peace of mind. It’ll also give you time to enjoy an amazing meal after shopping at the pop-up (a MUST!).

The West Loop is known as one of the best hubs of restaurants in the city. Best of all, I’ve worked in the neighborhood for 10+ years, so I truly feel confident in sharing solid recommendations. Some of my personal faves (in no particular order) are Rose Mary, Oakville Grill & Cellar, SUSHI DOKKU (order the truffle tuna, trust!), Momotaro, Swift & Sons, and Monteverde.

Reservations are highly recommended and very competitive at several of these places. Book early and often! 🙂

What We Wore from rag & Bone

For the preview party, I chose to wear rag & bone’s Roslyn Linen Blazer in Light Tan (also available in a striped version and all-black option). To complete the look, I selected their Ultra Featherweight Nolan Drawstring Shorts. Both styles fit true to size, and they’re incredibly versatile. First, the blazer is actually both lightweight but sturdy. Unlike other linen fabrics, this version holds up well and doesn’t wrinkle too easily. Love that!

The Ultra Featherweight Nolan Drawstring Shorts rivals my other favorite denim shorts style. These are insanely comfortable, and I love there’s a tie at the waist to cinch it even more. Truly a new wardrobe hero and go-to style for summer. I’ll be packing them for Nantucket.

On the other hand, Bob selected rag & bone’s Fit 2 Stretch Twill Chino Pants and Finch Denim Shirt in Sunny. He was THRILLED to receive these items – especially since he’s shopped and supported Shopbop for more than 20 years. He also chose rag & bone’s Rugged Belt Brown – a new staple in his wardrobe too.

Shopbop Pop-Up Shop – In Closing

Looking for a fun way to enjoy a summer afternoon or weekend? I highly recommend visiting the Shopbop pop-up shop while you can. I’ll be keeping a look out for other U.S. pop-up locations soon!

Thank you to the entire Shopbop team, rag & bone, and everyone who made this pop-up shop possible. It’s an experience (and evening) we won’t forget!
