Cancer sucks. I know that’s stating the obvious, but it’s true. Sadly, the older one gets, the more real that statement becomes; I can’t think of a single person in my life whose family hasn’t been affected by the disease. This past year was a particularly painful one for my husband and I because of cancer. As such, when Talbots reached out to see if I was open to partnering with them to during Breast Cancer Awareness month, my answer was a resounding “yes!”

Talbots commissioned a total of six female artists to create a one-of-a-kind collection of silk scarves for their “The Art of the Scarf” initiative. Each partner used their art to interpret the strength of women into a print. All of it is in support of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Helpline. In the spirit of women helping women, Talbots will donate 20% of the net proceeds from each scarf sold from 09/23 to 10/31! Love that! Shop the full collection of scarves here.

In full disclosure (as always), I partnered with Talbots in a paid capacity for this campaign. Given the incredible work that the Susan G. Komen organization does to fight cancer, I will be donating 100% of my partnership payment (and all of my commission revenue from my Talbots posts) to Susan G. Komen. Each and every non-profit effort requires a marketing budget, but it would be remiss of me to make any sort of monetary gains from this opportunity. It’s an honor to be able to share more about the incredible work being done by Talbots and Susan G. Komen! Please shop these stunning scarves here!
