What a week, friends! I cannot put into words how grateful I am for your support of last week’s Style Charade x Sail to Sable holiday collection launch. It’s shocking to see how quickly pieces sold out. I’m in awe! Thankfully, there are a handful of sizes and style remaining, so be sure to scoop them up before they sell out, too!
Style Charade x Sail to Sable Holiday Capsule Trip
Last week, I was able to travel to the iconic Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia to photograph the collection. Best of all, I was joining by three amazing friends: Allie Provost, Jenna Colgrove, and Megan Pinckney Rutherford. Plus, The Greenbrier was fully decked out in their holiday décor. Last year, they were juuuuuust starting to put up all the trees, wreaths, and holiday scenes. So, if you’d like to spend time at this iconic destination in it’s full holiday glory, plan for the third week of November (or later). As always, the team at The Greenbrier was amazing. Effortlessly accommodating and amazing service. It’s no wonder they are such a popular destination for conferences and business retreats. I’m planning on a future post dedicated to the resort and travel details and logistics – stay tuned!
This year, the Style Charade x Sail to Sable holiday collection features so many of my favorite winter elements. Alongside the iconic silver sequin Charlotte dress, there’s also an emerald version and a midnight blue Anne sequin dress. Plus, the Tracy embellished dress has the perfect touch of sparkle in a mini shape.
Sequins, Bows, and Velvet – Oh My!
For 2022, we introduced a few brand new silhouettes for the capsule. One of which (seen below) is the Marsha bow dress. I’m over the moon about how the dress turned out. Funny story: we originally planned to create it in just black. When the factory produced the first sample, they did so in this vibrant pink, as they had a bit of yardage leftover from last year. After seeing it this hue, it was a no-brainer that we had to produce it. I’m so glad you all loved it, too!
Although the pink version is sold out, and the black one only has two sizes left, fear not! Tuckernuck will be carrying both colors on their site. I’ll be sure to share once they do!
For 2022, we brought back the best-selling Allie bow back dress in a classic navy and emerald colorway, and we added pockets(!). In fact, per your requests, pockets were added to the majority of the dresses this year. Additionally, the team at Sail to Sable brought back an updated version of one of their very first dresses. The brand is about to celebrate their ten year anniversary, and I feel so lucky to help them celebrate. Shop their classic velvet tiered dress here!
Giving Thanks
None of this would be possible without the help and support of so many people. First, the Sail to Sable team. This small business always amazes me with the things they are able to accomplish, and they’ve been such a wonderful partner over the years. Also, the amazing women who took time out of their lives to join me at The Greenbrier. We have the opportunity to capture the collection against the most incredible of backdrops. Plus, we had a blast doing so. I’m still sore from laughing so much. Finally, you. I am so thankful to have the most amazing readers and friends who come out and support these capsule launches.
