Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite styles in my closet – this Stella McCartney Striped Coat. A rainbow of colorful hues? Sign me up! For years, Stella McCartney has been one of my favorite designers. While I can’t always afford what she creates, I love checking in to see her seasonal collections. Plus, her commitment to sustainable fashion is so amazing.
Whether it’s a color blocked coat, ivory wool, or trench coat, I love finding special pieces that are both fashionable and functional. In fact, I’m pretty sure that I’ve owned this coat for years!

Colorful coats are the best! As a lifelong Chicagoan, I need coats for three seasons of the year – spring, fall, and winter. The Stella McCartney Striped Coat is especially helpful during the spring months.
Who is Stella McCartney
Beyond the beautiful design, I highly recommend reading up on designer, Stella McCartney. Beyond being the daughter of The Beatles singer, Paul McCartney, Stella has built an empire that’s all her own.
Stella was born in London, and she was raised in the English countryside. Furthermore, she graduated from Central St Martins, and built her brand on sharp tailoring, natural confidence and sexy femininity.
Additionally, she was tapped as the Creative Director of Chloe Paris. Now, she focuses all of her energies on her eponymous brand.
Sure, the print is bold and fun. However, the fabric? It’s SO sturdy. I can wear it in the airport, rain storms, and everything in between. The colors don’t fade, and the button-down front makes it a versatile piece.
