If you’ve read my blog for any length of time, you know I love classic wardrobe staples. Ones that go the extra mile and can be dressed up for the office and worn casually for weekends. The tan sweater dress from Tuckernuck is a prime example. First, I love that it has sewn in cuffs and a collar for a layered look without the excess bulk. Moreover, the dress itself is a slightly thicker weave, so it holds it’s shape well for all day wear. Recently, I wore this classic tan sweater dress on a trip to Washington, D.C. for a fun United Airlines event. It packed beautifully and didn’t even need a steam once I arrived – love that.

Three Ways to Style a Tan Sweater Dress

In today’s post, I’m sharing three ways to style this classic piece. As you can see, it works perfectly for all occasions. First, I added boots, a structured bag, and a tweed blazer. This look is a great fall option for work. Second, I went super simple with gold Loeffler Randall mules and a woven tote from an amazing Australian brand. To me, this could be a lovely sunny Saturday brunch look with friends. Last, I added a cognac leather belt, matching suede pumps, and a forest green bamboo handle tote. This could be a chic business lunch look or perhaps an outfit for a work conference. What ways would you style this tan sweater dress? Let me know in the comments below!
