Start With a Clean Slate
Everything works better on clean skin, and with acne-prone skin, a thorough (but gentle) double cleanse is non-negotiable. I start with a balm to melt everything away, then follow with a creamy wash.
My everyday wash is Tatcha The Rice Wash. It’s creamy and pH-balanced, so it cleans without that tight, squeaky feeling. (Sensitive skin, I see you.) It’s gentle enough for morning and night.
For step one of my double cleanse, the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm melts away makeup and SPF in seconds. It leaves skin soft, never greasy.

For Breakouts
Fun fact: my skin can break out from simply looking at a new product, lol. That’s exactly why I’m SO picky. These two keep things calm and clear.

Complexion is where I invest. These are the foundations, concealer, powder and brow pencil in heavy rotation on my vanity.

I set my concealer with HUDA BEAUTY Easy Bake Powder so nothing budges. It’s finely milled, and a little goes a long way.
The Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil is my brow MVP. The ultra-fine tip draws natural, hair-like strokes, and a good brow day is always the best way to start the day.
The Glow Edit

The MERIT Flush Balm is the foolproof cream blush that looks like a natural flush, and my go-to shade is Cheeky. True story: at our primary and lake homes, I legit keep three in each makeup drawer, plus two in my travel bag. Excessive? Maybe. Regrets? Zero.
The LYS No Limits Cream Bronzer in Motivate is one of my daily go-tos, and it’s a long-time favorite of yours, too. It blends like a dream for soft warmth and contour. Grab two: one for you, one for a gift.
Patrick Ta’s Major Dimensions III was my number one eyeshadow palette of 2023, and the Patrick Ta Major Dimension Palette is the only palette I need now. Soft, wearable neutrals take me from everyday to date night.
