Last weekend, we flew out to New York and Connecticut for business meetings. Two of the items I packed for the trip? This Abbey Glass Maya Dress in both pink lemonade and tropical flower. More on these items a bit later!

These happened to be the only photos we captured for the blog over the four-day trip. A minor miracle if you know us, lol. With our full-time jobs, we tend to power pack our weekends with photo shoots – especially when we’re in the Big Apple since there are so many gorgeous backdrops. Don’t get me wrong- we always leave time for fun. 🙂 But normally, we’re driving from borough to borough to source new content.

This trip was different.

A New Era of Travel

Since getting fully vaccinated, I’ve felt myself slowly entering into new era of travel (well… and life overall). My intentions and priorities have completely shifted. I’m sure yours have as well.

With demanding jobs during the week, weekends are often the only time we can gsd for the blog. We’ve always been okay with that fact (and frankly enjoyed the process along the way).

However, everything changed when the world came to a stop. Now, I want to travel and live life in a different way. Sure, we’ll still capture/share our experiences. However, I plan to prioritize other things too. For example, for this trip, we had a bunch of business meetings (okay… so a lot actually). But in our free time – we met up with a bunch more friends and family for meals and drinks, walked around the city streets without our phones and cameras, and stopped at corner cafes just to enjoy the sights and sounds around us. It was refreshing, and I fully anticipate we’ll keep us this trend.

How are you planning to alter the way you travel? Have your intentions changed?

Abbey Glass Maya Dress

Okay, so I packed these gorgeous Abbey Glass Maya dresses in pink lemonade and tropical flower. Friends, they are SO comfy! The fabrics are lightweight, flowy and perfect for summer. I also love the fact they come with belts to cinch the waist. You really can’t go wrong with either style. Furthermore, I paired the pink lemonade style with these stunning Petal Earrings that come in three colors.

In general, Abbey Glass has quickly become a brand that I love. The first styles I wore from the brand was this stunning floral maxi skirt and striped shirt, and I was immediately impressed with the quality of the fabrics and designs. Unlike other shirts, the striped style had extra stretch. Furthermore, the maxi skirt color combo had me at hello. Blue and yellow? Sign me up! 🙂 Both items are on sale, and highly recommended!

Be sure to checkout the entire Abbey Glass collection here. She just released new arrivals, and I have no doubt you’ll love the new options as much as I do!
