Even though we’re still in the process of renovating the lake home, entertaining has been top of mind. Specifically, I’ve been searching for coastal tablescape ideas for year round gatherings.
Over the years, I’ve become more of a homebody. As such, I care deeply about spaces that are comfortable, warm, and inviting. And while Bob and I love cooking and relaxing at home, we’ve started to love doing more home entertaining. After all, I love how a room can make guests feel completely at home.
For the past two years, Bob and I have transformed a lakeside home into a dreamy coastal getaway. During the process, we were warned about two things. First, renovations take more time than you think. Next? It’ll cost you double (maybe even triple) what you budgeted. But in the end, the results are worth it. So true.
For the first time ever, we had the opportunity to attend the Kohler Food and Wine Festival. Receiving the invitation was a pinch me moment, especially because Kohler has always held a very special place in my heart. Over the years, Bob and I stayed at The American Club and Inn at Woodlake easily more than a dozen times.
