Hi, friends! I’m delighted to share a preview of the Sail to Sable x Style Charade Holiday 2022 capsule collection. Can you believe the holiday season is almost here? As in years past, I worked closely with the Sail to Sable team to dream up the most gorgeous and curated collection to help get you in the festive spirit.
The collection will officially launch next Thursday, November 17th at 10 AM ET / 9 AM CT on SailtoSable.com. Additionally, I’m thrilled several retailers have picked up pieces from the line, including Tuckernuck. It means the world that other brands continue to support the line – thank you to each and every one of them!
Style Charade x Sail to Sable Holiday Collection
So what can you expect from this year’s Style Charade holiday collection? In the wise words of Taylor Swift, “shimmer!” 🙂 Think embellished bow details, sequins, pearly accents, and beyond. Furthermore, you’ll find bold colors like pink, emerald green, midnight blues, and classic winter white. I thoroughly enjoyed dreaming up the collection with the STS team, and I hope you love it as much as I do!
Moreover, we have several brand new silhouettes while also bringing back some of our bestsellers. There’s truly something for everyone for the upcoming holiday and winter season.
Best of all, everything retails for under $300. As you know, great style shouldn’t cost a fortune, and we did our very best to design high quality pieces at attainable price points. Moreover, all styles will be available in sizes XXS – 3X, and the collection is available for international shipping!
Without further ado, here are the styles included in this year’s Sail to Sable x Style Charade Holiday Collection.
Charlotte Sequin Dress in Silver
Since the very first Sail to Sable x Style Charade holiday capsule collection launch, the Charlotte Sequin Dress in silver has been the ultimate customer favorite. While I’m super biased, I can see why! 🙂 It’s truly the perfect sequin dress. For background, I originally designed the style, because I was tired of shopping for sequin dresses and only finding tight, body con, crazy short mini styles. I wanted something easy, breezy, and comfortable… but covered in sequins!
The Charlotte Sequin Dress is the perfect sparkly style for special occasions. The dress fits true to size, comes with pockets, and is a pullover style (i.e. no zippers). You’ll absolutely adore this dress for many seasons to come. The Charlotte silver sequin dress retails for $248.
Marsha Bow Dress
Next up? The Marsha Bow Dress. This style is extremely special to me, and it’s the perfect holiday statement. Whether you decide to wear it now, in a few months, or next year, the Marsha Bow Dress is timeless and always in style.
The Style Charade Marsha dress will retail for $298, and it’ll be available in two colors – black or pink. Both hues are SO fun. You honestly can’t go wrong. The black version is the ideal little black dress. Furthermore, you’ll find two custom silver embellished bow appliques that shimmer and shine. I’m obsessed! The second option is a bold, posh pink. which is feminine and lovely. Lastly, this shift style features long sleeves and an invisible back zipper.
Since our first couple of capsule collections, bows have been a prominent theme throughout. From bow back sweaters and dresses to bow tie midis, I’ve always had a major affinity for bows.
The Marsha Bow Back dress is one of my favorite styles I’ve ever designed, and I hope you love it as much as I do! Both the black and pink Marsha sequin bow dress retails for $298.
Charlotte Emerald Sequin Dress
This year, I decided to create our bestselling style in a brand new color! Meet the Charlotte Sequin Dress in emerald. I absolutely love this version. This style is fully lined, comes with pockets, and (like the silver) the sequins aren’t scratchy. We updated this year’s Charlotte fit every-so-slightly from previous seasons but nothing that crazy overwhelming. I decided to bring in the blouson sleeve just slightly in order for it to be less billowy.
I can’t wait to see how you’ll style this hue. Emerald pairs so beautifully with gold and other metallics as well as other jewel tones and camel. The Charlotte emerald sequin dress retails for $248.
The Kristin Ball Skirt in Tartan Plaid
Meet the very first ball skirt style in the Sail to Sable x Style Charade collection! For as long as I can remember, I’ve adored ball and maxi length skirts. There’s something so glamorous about them, right? This new style makes me SO happy. Plus, it’s created from Sail to Sable’s custom blackwatch tartan plaid cotton fabric keeping it lightweight and easy to wear. Better yet, the self-tie waist allows you to tie it in a bow in front, on the side, or in back. Plus, it has elastic built into the back waistline for an incredible comfortable fit. Lastly, the Kristin ball skirt also has pockets! The Kristin ball skirt retails for $198.
Anne Midnight Blue Midi Dress
If you’re looking for a maximalist midi moment, this is your dress! The Anne midi dress has been part of the Sail to Sable x Style Charade since our very first capsule, and we’ve brought her back. For the holiday collection, she’s adorned in midnight blue sequins that will help you *shimmer* all season long. Like the classic Charlotte counterpart, the Anne Midi dress is a fully lined pullover style with pockets. Charlotte Black Velvet Tiered Dress
The next style is our bestselling Charlotte Dress is a black velvet tiered version. This sleeveless style is extremely versatile. Add a blazer over it, a turtleneck or bodysuit underneath it, or even pair it with a white button down. There are SO many ways to make this piece your own. Additionally, I plan to wear it with statement tights, boots, booties, pumps, and beyond. This Charlotte sleeveless style is a touch more narrow in the bust and waist compared to the original Charlotte, and it comes with an invisible side zip and pockets.
I love the dimension of the fabric pairing, and it’s the first time I’m releasing a sleeveless version of this style. The Charlotte sleeveless velvet tiered dress retails for $268.
Tracy Embellished Dress
For this holiday 2022 collection, we created yet another new style: the Tracy Embellished Dress. This stunning dress features a sequin and pearly embellished neckline, sleeve and trim. If you’ve followed my blog journey for some time, you know that I adore winter white. The soft yet bright hue makes everyone look positively amazing! I truly believe it’s a color that works on every skin tone. This mini shift style is fully lined and includes a gold back zipper. When creating the Tracy Embellished Dress, I was inspired by all things vintage and envisioned a holiday party dress from the 1950s and early 60s. Also, the bengaline taffeta fabric has a subtle texture and will hold its shape beautifully as you party the night away! The Tracy embellished dress retails for $298.
Allie Bow Back Dress
Last year’s Allie Bow Back Dress has returned in a fresh color combination that’s perfect for the winter and holiday season. This year, I chose to design the dress in navy blue and emerald green. The pairing turned out so sleek and fun, and I love it so much. New this year: pockets! As always, the v-back and bow detail hits at the perfect spot so that you don’t need to think twice about which undergarment to wear. This is also crafted from the bengaline taffeta – a perfect mid-weight option for the season!
Last year, the Allie Bow Back sold out quickly, and I have a feeling this style and new color combo will resonate too! The Allie bow back dress retails for $248.
Style Charade Holiday Collection Sizes
The Sail to Sable x Style Charade Holiday collection will be available in sizes XXS-XXL. If between sizes, I’d recommend sizing down. We’ve made many tweaks to fits, but I still like to create options with room to breath and wear for hours on end.
