Marie Oliver Floral Multicolor Skirt Set
My mom always advised me to take the jump and buy the matching set. This applied to almost everything: undergarments, lamps, chairs, and (naturally) skirt sets. Her thinking was that if you waited to buy the matching item, there’d be a chance it would sell out and you’d regret it. Solid advice, as always!
In today’s post, I’m sharing two new skirt sets that caught my eye and how I’m styling them. First up, this Marie Oliver Fallon top and matching Sutton skirt. The floral print is so lovely for the season. Plus, there are so many colors to pull from for accessories. I adore how the new Julia Berholzheimer x Jennifer Behr statement necklace pairs so seamlessly. Same goes for my new fave green bag from Frances Valentine. Both fit true to size, and are currently on sale!

Brooks Avenue Quilted Skirt Set
Second up is this incredible quilted citron set from a new-to-me brand. In fact, I first stumbled upon these pieces in my Instagram Explore page – love that! When I dug deeper into the collection at Brooks Avenue, I fell head over heels for their creations. I don’t know about you, but sometimes fashion can get a bit boring and repetitive. Not here! Their fabrications, embellishments, prints, and designs are just perfection.

What I adore most about this skirt set is the color and shape. They call the hue “pear trapunto.” I call it amazing. It’s such a great color to wear this season and beyond. Moreover, the barrel shape of the jacket arms and a-line of the mini skirt pair so well. Quick sizing note: the skirt runs quite small. I sized up two sizes, so be warned!
Do you have any skirt sets on your radar? I’d love to hear more!
