Happy Friday, friends! If you’ve been following along on Instagram Stories, you’ve seen that I’ve been in Mexico for work this week. We ended up leaving a day earlier than expected in order to avoid the polar vortex in Chicago (and a potential flight cancellation). As much as I wished Bob could have joined me, it was good he had to stay in Chicago for his work, because our furnace went out on Wednesday (ugh!). Thankfully, he found an HVAC service to come out that day, and it was a quick (and affordable) fix. I shudder to think what would have happened had we both been out of town all week – yikes!
As opposed to going back to Chicago today, I’ll be heading to Charleston for the weekend! Bob is flying to meet me, and we both can’t wait to spend time in one of our favorite cities. Plus, it will be so fun to see some Charlestonian friends. Best of all, a bunch of other girls I know will be visiting Charleston this weekend, too! I absolutely love when the timing works out perfectly! Hope you have a lovely Friday ahead!
