I’m a dress girl. But since 2020, separates have become a more prominent part of my closet. One brand that’s helped me build out a more diverse wardrobe? Ann Taylor. In fact, Ann Taylor pants have become a go-to style staple for every season. This fall, the brand does not disappoint with their curated array of pants, denim, and leggings for all occasions.

Whether you’re searching for something more casual or dressy, Ann Taylor has options for you at reasonable price points. Moreover, I consistently find them to run true to size. Today, I’m sharing and recommending three new pant styles from the brand for fall. These items also embrace one of the hottest trends – faux leather.

Ann Taylor Pants for Fall

Ann Taylor has always been known for solid work wear pieces. Therefore, it’s no surprise their suiting and trousers are on point (plus I love they offer colorful styles, like this one). This year, I’ve loved seeing the brand move to more trendy styles, like faux leather leggings and pants. Best of all, everything is under $150.

The Belted Tapered Pant In Faux Leather

To start, I LOVE these Belted Tapered Pants in black faux leather. The style is available in both regular and petite for sizes 00-18. Get this: these are machine washable (yay!), making the care very easy and seamless. I also adore it comes with a a belted waist to create a more cinched look. There’s a slight tapered silhouette for an elegant, tailored look and front off-seam pockets.

I also love they’re slightly cropped to show off your shoes. One quick style tip: remove the belt when wearing a breezy top or sweater over the pants. The belt is perfect when tucking in your shirt or donning a more form fitting style.

Lastly, do not sleep on this striped draped collar coat friends! It’s SO SO SO good. It’s one of the best jackets I’ve seen from a brand this season by far. They also have a poncho version for under $100.

The Faux Leather High Waist Easy Ankle Pant

Another Ann Taylor pant worth your time? The Faux Leather High Waist Easy Ankle Pant. Unlike the faux black leather pants above, this style has a button and zipper closure (the other version has two hooks and a zipper). First, I love the navy color. After all, you may already own a pair of leather leggings or pants in your closet.

This season, navy is a phenomenal new neutral to take your looks to the next level. Another fave aspect of this style? There’s an elastic waist. YES! They’re super easy to put on and take off. Plus, it hits at the ankle for a versatile and flattering fit.

I paired it with this beautiful blue bow tie blouse, blue ribbed cashmere cardigan, and this plaid double breasted coat. Isn’t the coat stunning? Friends, Ann Taylor is killing the game with their jackets this year. Wowza.

Be sure to check out this houndstooth funnel neck top (also available in a cardigan). They would also pair perfectly with these Ann Taylor pants.

Ann Taylor Plaid Double Breasted Coat

The Faux Leather Boot Crop Pant

Last but not least, meet the Ann Taylor Faux Leather Boot Crop Pant. First, I love where the pants hit at the waist. They’re also different than the other two options with a boot cut flare. These Ann Taylor pants come with a front zip with button closure, along with belt loops if you want to add your own belt.

Ann Taylor Pink Houndstooth

Similar to the outfit ideas above, this fall houndstooth coat is giving me life (do you sense a trend?). In typical Ann Taylor form, the fabric is also used in other ways within the collection. Therefore, I styled it with the matching plaid tote bag and mid block heels. Like my mom taught me, if you love something – buy it in every color (or in this case, the same print).

Finally, I’m a complete sucker for a color block sweater. This striped turtleneck sweater is a classic addition to any closet. I’m a fan!

Ann Taylor Pants Size Guide

Looking to invest in a new pair of fall pants? If so, I recommend starting with the Ann Taylor size guide to make sure that you purchase the right pair. After all, there’s nothing worse than getting something in the mail and it’s the wrong size.

Thankfully, Ann Taylor tends to run true to size. However, triple check the size guide on their website just to make sure! Also, keep in mind the brand offers both regular and petite options. Therefore, if you’re a bit shorter (like me), opt for the petite pant sizes for a more flattering look.
