First up, let’s start in the kitchen. Frankly, we’ve purchased (and continue to buy) a TON of Amazon kitchen items for this space. After all, we spend the most amount of time there during the day, so we’ve been very intentional about our purchases.
Rice Cooker
I dare you find a better Rice Cooker at a better price. We use this device all of the time to create the best rice we’ve ever eaten. Best investment we’ve made to elevate our rice dishes.
Mixing Bowl Set
If you only buy one thing on this list, opt for this mixing bowl set. We use these bowls daily, and we love they are stackable, come with lids, and easy to store in cabinets or the fridge. I never knew I’d be passionately in love with a set of bowls, lol. But geez, these are simply superb.
Glass Storage Container Set
Similarly, Bob and I are obsessed (truly) with this Glass Storage Container Set with Lids. SO good for storing food and for reheating leftovers. We also own the plastic version, but we’re moving towards more glass options in general around the kitchen.
Mini Spoons and Resting Bowls
These Coffee Spoons and Coffee Spoon Resting Bowls are phenomenal. We keep them on top of our coffee bar and next to our coffee machine for an easy, quick stir of our milk and sugar. They’re absolutely darling!
Dawn Powerwash Spray
Friends, we LOVE our Dawn Powerwash Dish Spray. So convenient and helpful when hand washing dishes. This year, they unveiled a limited-edition Pumpkin Spice version, and it smells divine! The crazy part is I’m not a big pumpkin spice scented girl, but there’s something about this fragrance that just works. The brand also released a Pine fragrance, which we immediately purchased. So good!
Bamboo Vegetable and Fruit Cleaning Brush
Another tool that’s come in handy is this Bamboo Vegetable and Fruit Cleaning Brush. It’s an extremely versatile scrubber for food, including potatoes, mushrooms, and veggies. Highly recommended!
Chip Clip Set
Chip clips come in handy for a multitude of things, and this set of heavy duty clips is our favorite. We love it so much that we purchased a second set for our primary home. They’re sleek, chic, and create a strong seal for food.
European Brass Salt and Pepper Mills
European Brass Salt and Pepper Mills elevate the kitchen an in instant. Plus, they come in handy when cooking and entertaining, of course. We always get compliments about our styles; we swear by this brand.
Mesh Strainer Set
For years, we’ve owned several strainers for pasta and beyond. However, we’ve never owned a set of mesh strainers in different sizes, and recently purchased this set of 3. These are brilliant, and we constantly use them in the kitchen when cooking.
The Best Slow Cooker
It’s very likely you already own a slow cooker. But if you were like us, we’d owned ours since college and it was time for an upgrade. This portable 6 Quart Slow Cooker is top rated for a reason.
Non-Stick Baking Sheets
Finding a great non-stick baking pan is always important. We love the Nordic Ware version that comes with a nonstick grid. In fact, we purchased two different sizes for the lake home and ended up purchasing another set for our primary home since we love it so much. Don’t overlook these!
Kitchen Cabinet Cleaner
This cabinet cleaning formula is amazing to get cabinet finishes and paint so it prolongs the life of your cabinet. It comes with a gentle scrub brush to make the application and cleaning process seamless.
Rechargeable High Power Light
Instead of investing in a large ring light, I’ve chosen to purchase this Rechargeable High Power Light. Perfect for lighting up my face on Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and also helpful when we’re creating content for Style Charade.
Best Electric Wine Opener
While we don’t drink wine often, we’ve LOVED . We used to own this version, and it broke within a year. We’ve had this Wine Opener for several now, and it works like a charm. So easy to use!
Lazy Susan
Growing up, Bob’s mom always had Lazy Susan’s around the home – both on the kitchen table and in her pantry. We’ve chosen to opt for this Lazy Susan’s, and love storing them in our cabinets for sauces, oils, and more.
Reusable Stasher Bags
After years of purchasing plastic bags for Bob’s lunches, we’ve chosen to invest in Stasher Bags. First, it helps us eliminate one-use plastics, and allows us to store things in a convenient manner. They’re dishwasher safe, BPA-free, leak-free, and eco-friendly.
Shun Cutlery Premier Blonde Knives
Transparently, Shun Cutlery happens to be one of our agency’s clients. I rarely (if ever) feature our clients on this blog to keep a separate between Church and State, if you will. However, these knives are really THAT good that it’s worth a mention. Plus, I was a fan of their brand before they ever became a client, so I feel comfortable including them on this list.
First off, these handmade Japanese knives are the best of the best. The Premiere Blonde Knives are my favorite collection. Looking to invest in one knife to start? I recommend this Santoku Knife or the 4″ Pairing Knife. Also, PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE VERY, VERY SHARP KNIVES.
Juliska Spoon Rest
For years, Bob and I have loved investing in Juliska’s Berry and Thread Collection. The pieces are timeless and classic, and truly something we use every day. Last year, we chose to get their Berry and Thread Spoon Rest for the lake home, and we’re so glad we did.
Expandable Spice Organizer

It’s always helpful to have a rolling pin for baking and cooking. However, they’re incredibly annoying to store. This marble rolling pin and wooden cradle are fabulous, and beautiful to display on a countertop or in a drawer.
