I hope you’ve been having a relaxing weekend so far! On Friday night, we went out for dinner in Lakeview and sat outside. Yes, that’s right, we dined al fresco without a coat for an evening meal in Chicago on October 20th. At first, we thought that would be the highlight of the meal. Then, out of nowhere, both the bartender and the server gave us free margaritas! Technically, they gave them to Bob, but he shared his with me, so it was a win-win, lol! Saturday was spent taking photos for the blog (again, thank you Mother Nature for the nice weather). Last night, we went out to dinner and a movie with Kit. Have you seen the new Kingsman yet? This second one had quite the cast! We’re heading out to spin class this morning, and then absolutely nothing is on the agenda for the rest of the day. I can’t wait!

Today’s post is all about how to style a black tuxedo dress. While I have always been a girly-girl at heart, it’s nice to change it up now and again. I found that the dress fits true-to-size and the back zip makes it easy to wear (no fussing with buttons). I kept the accessories simple with a subtle pop of color in the bag (last worn in this post) and my new favorite pumps. I’m also loving this ivory tuxedo dress and this striped version, too! Happy Sunday!
