Happy Sunday! I hope you’re having a great weekend! After spending two days in Ft. Lauderdale for work, I headed down to Miami to enjoy the weekend and finally experience Art Basel. We’ve tried to go the past few years, but our schedules always had conflicts. Thankfully, my work trip was perfectly timed to allow us to be here this year. As fate would have it, Saturday’s weather was rainy. In reality, it was a blessing in disguise, because it forced us to relax for the day. Plus, Chicago’s weather called for temps in the 20s. I’ll take a rainy 60-degree Saturday over a down coat and gloves for sure.
Last night, we enjoyed a really fun dinner out with Alisha and her fiancé Graham, followed by an incredible American Express event at W South Beach. The Sunday plan is to take a few photos around Miami, wander the city, and then grab brunch with Christie and her husband before heading back to Chicago.
Today’s post features a fun, bright pink cut out midi dress at an amazing mural by Risk Rock in Houston. The multicolor stripe jacket is by Mary Katrantzou, one of my all-time favorite designers. I fell head over heels with it when I first spotted it on NET-A-PORTER’s new arrivals. Also, I absolutely love how Blair styled hers and how Carrie styled the skirt in the same print. Lastly, be sure to take a peek at Carrie’s comprehensive guide to Houston murals – so good! Have a lovely rest of your weekend!
