There’s a quote that says, “Travel is the one thing you buy that makes you richer.” Wow, I totally agree with this powerful statement! But, just because traveling is totally worthwhile, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t find a way to keep our holiday expenses low. After all, can you really fully enjoy a trip when your stomach is twisting over those insane hotel prices? No way!

I get so excited when brands push themselves and their partners to bring elevated experiences that make travel that much more fun and joyful.

This year, Bob and I decided to spend our entire winter break at home. There’s something so special about being home for the holidays, you know? Peaceful even. While we’ll be resting, relaxing and catching up on ALL of the shows, I still plan to dress up every now and again – starting with this Talbots holiday outfit.
There’s one destination that always seems to be an instant mood booster – Finland. For four years in a row, our PR client has been named the “happiest country in the world” by the U.N. Happiness Report. Finland, is indeed, my happy place. There must be something in the water, lol. Maybe it’s the fresh air, nature, sauna experiences or people, but the Nordic country is just a stress-free zone that makes me feel relaxed and rejuvenated.
This summer, I’ve been able to test out new luggage and travel items which are all functional yet stylish. Plus, the monogrammed details make them that much more special. Read more in today’s post!

Two years ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Ocean House Rhode Island with the team at vineyard vines for their Holiday 2019 collection photo shoot. Looking back, it’s easy a return to Ocean House was in order. When the Sail to Sable team and I designed the Spring 2021 capsule, we wanted to bring it to life in a fun yet different way. Therefore, when they mentioned the idea of doing a trip to Ocean House… I was 100% in!
