Colorful Tile Wall in San Diego

During our June trip to Southern California, I definitely had a few locations in mind for blog photos. One spot was this colorful tile wall in San Diego. Technically, it’s in La Jolla, and it’s a part of their amazing public art initiative. I posted about this wall previously {here}, and when I saw it in person, I knew that this yellow Milly dress would also compliment the tiles. Created by Roy McMakin, this multicolor wall is even more cheerful in person! It’s great to see how cities embrace color and find ways to incorporate it into the life of the community.

Speaking of color, I love that Milly has classic styles that they recreate in new colors and prints each season. This Jordan Tie Dress along with the Nicole Dress and the Selena Dress are just a few examples. I first fell in love with this tie-front style last summer, when I brought a different version of it with me to NYC.
