Over the years, H&M has collaborated with some of the most brilliant designers and acclaimed brands on the planet. So what’s next for the brand? The HM Simone Rocha collection, which will be available exclusively on H&M’s website and in select stores. Altogether, there will be approximately 112+ pieces released in the line.
Buckle up, friends – the collection is phenomenal. I sincerely haven’t been this excited since the Giambattista Valli release!
H&M Simone Rocha Collection Launch Date
Save the date, friends! The HM Simone Rocha officially launches on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Fair warning – H&M’s designer collaborations sell quickly. Like World Record’s pace.
In fact, one of the craziest things I’ve ever done is sleeping overnight on Michigan Avenue for the Lanvin x H&M collection launch in 2015 (I had to get my hands on this statement necklace). That’s a story for another day, haha!

Listen, it’s no secret the H&M x Simone Rocha line will fly off shelves. Take one look at the complete lookbook, and you’ll understand why. Overall, it’s chock full of fabulous items that you’ll love having in your closet for years to come. Seriously, everything is just THAT good.
Plus, at a fraction of the designer’s typical price point, which can run upwards of $1,400 a dress, it’s easy to clamor for these more affordable couture-like pieces.

Who is Simone Rocha?
Are you familiar with Simone Rocha? For the past decade, the Irish designer has been gaining momentum in the fashion scene. Known for collections inspired by strong women, her pieces reflect the complex yet beautiful natures of females. Items embody hard and soft, romantic and rebellious, and everything is extremely elegant and feminine.
Simone Rocha studied at both Dublin’s National College of Art and Design, along with Central Saint Martins. Her first collection debuted at London Fashion Week in 2010. To see her line, I recommend shopping her collection at Charleston’s best boutique, beloved Nordstrom, Bergdorf Goodman and NET-A-PORTER.
Below, I’m sharing some of my favorite items from her full-priced line and collection. Again, these products and prices are higher than the H&M collection.

First off, the Simone Rocha x H&M Collection will feature womenswear. No surprise there! 🙂 Furthermore, the release will mark her first foray into menswear and children’s line, but more on that later!

In terms of women’s apparel, get ready for frilly frocks and tulle pieces in cotton candy pinks, blacks and timeless tartans. Some of of my favorite styles include a fabulous puff sleeve fil coupe floral dress, sparkling tweed pink trench coat and the statement earrings / necklaces. I adore the way she plays with various scales and unique silhouettes.

Plus, longtime Rocha fans will enjoy some special items that she’s bringing back, like the sequin bralette from Spring 2020 or tartan trousers from the Spring 2014 collection.
Looking for more casual pieces and everyday outfits? Opt for her dresses in organic cotton, apron tops, trousers, bubble knits, wool cardigans, hoodies and joggers. There’s even embellished pearl t-shirts.
One of the coolest aspects of the line is the range of styling options. Plus, there are signature brand elements everywhere – sparkly tinsels, elegant embellishments and full skirts (yay!). There’s plenty of floral and frills to keep Simone’s most frequent shoppers happy while appealing to a new demographic of shoppers.

Rocha’s much anticipated debut of menswear and childrenswear does not disappoint. In many ways, it shows her ability to dress the full family.
For Rocha’s menswear, she chooses to rework timeless styles. Men will find an array of outerwear options, including a summer park and pearl embellished collar trench. Every day pieces include hoodies, colorful t-shirts, shirting, sweaters and cardigans. Looking for more elegant offerings? Simone brings forward wool suiting, including a chic blazer and drawstring trousers. Notably, she also taps one of her longtime partners, Jacob Lillis, a brilliant photographer for images for the t-shirts.

On the other hand, the childrenswear line gives me all of the “mini me” moments. Think smaller takes on her timeless pieces ranging from knits to dresses, cardigans to joggers and even a puffer jacket. Embellishments and pops of prints are abound with pearl shaped-buttons and touches of tartan.

Alright, let’s talk accessories. Rocha is known for her crystal-statement accessories including headpieces, jewelry and beyond. For the H&M line, she offers more attainable options of real bead glass flowers and hair clips, bow earrings, and evening tiaras. Additionally, there are pearl-shape embellishments and feather accents on footwear.

According to the official press release, Simone Rocha’s line is a tribute to several things that have inspired her throughout her career. As always, the line is a nod to her own heritage: Ireland and Hong Kong. Plus, you’ll see Simone details throughout, including texture, shape and tactility. Rocha has a way of bridging history and family with intimacy and joy.

Overall, the line bridges high fashion with fast fashion in the most beautiful way. Trust, these curated capsule collections don’t cut corners on quality. I still own pieces from like a decade ago from the Madonna x H&M (yes, that was a thing).
How Much Do Pieces Cost?
The Simone Rocha x H&M collection ranges in price from $12.99 – $349. To give you a sense of some price tags – the dresses range between $99 – $299, and the shoes are the most expensive pieces.
What Sizes Will be Available?
Based on research, the H&M x Simone Rocha women’s collection will be available in sizes EU 34 to 44/46 (or XXS/0 – 3X/28). Additionally, most of the men’s collection will come in sizes EU 46 to 52/54. Finally, the childrenswear collection will be available in sizes 98/104,110/116 and 122/128.
