Today, I’m so excited to share a preview of the CROSBY by Mollie Burch x Venita Aspen Collection. Spoiler alert: it’s fabulous! I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Venita digitally for several years. In fact, I’m surprised that we haven’t spent time together! We’ve tried to make something work via DM and emails as she feels like a long lost friend. Once the pandemic is in a better place, I look forward to finally connecting in-person. It’s been TOO long!
But today isn’t about that! Instead, I’m excited to share a preview of the Venita Aspen Collection with CROSBY by Mollie Burch. As someone who has gone through the process of launching a capsule line five times, I can honestly empathize with what she’s going through right now! It’s scary, exhilarating and just all-around exhausting. 🙂

Venita Aspen Collection
In the past, I’ve loved supporting the CROSBY by Mollie Burch team. You’ll see her gorgeous dress in this video of our closet and pantry unveiling in partnership with Crate & Barrel, along with past Cyber Monday and Small Business Saturday round-ups on this blog.
Moreover, they couldn’t have picked a better partner to collaborate with than Venita. In case you’re not familiar, Venita is a model, influencer, and she’s even on TV (a little show called Southern Charm on BRAVO). Plus, from everything I’ve heard, watched, and seen from her – she’s incredibly kind and gracious. The type of person who you are thankful for in your friend circle because they’re just a loyal, solid good person.
In fact, that’s even more why I wanted to do an in-depth blog post about the collection. In my experience, it’s so important to show up… like really show up for the women whom you trust and respect. It has meant the absolute WORLD to me when bloggers, influencers and friends post on social media and their blogs.
Okay, so the CROSBY by Mollie Burch x Venita Aspen Collection is a 14-piece collection featuring tops, headbands, skirts, and dresses. Some of my personal favorite pieces are this striped Anna Julia Dress, which also comes in green velvet. There’s also a top version called the Angela Top featuring the same fabric. My other favorite is the pleated pink Leah Dress.

When does the Venita Aspen Collection launch? Well, mark your calendars for Monday, November 29, 2021 at 9 AM EST. The capsule line will launch onthe CROSBY by Mollie Burch website.
Anna Julia Dress
I’m wearing the Anna Julia Dress in Holiday Stripe/Duchess Satin. The dress is also available in an emerald green velvet, which is a more subtle option if the print is too much for you. I found it to fit true to size (I’m wearing a small), but I could also go down to the XS if I wanted it to be more fit.
Furthermore, the Anna Julia Dress retails for $268, and it’s such a fun holiday party dress. The design includes tiered ruffles and a V-neckline. Moreover, I love that Venita decided to name each style after an influential woman of color. Therefore, the Anna Julia Dress is named after Anna Julia Cooper, who was an activist, author and educator. She’s one of the prominent African American scholars in U.S. history. Love that!

In Closing
Behind-the-scenes, there are so many steps to designing a capsule collection that no one ever sees. Sure, we get to view the final results! However, there are infinite hours that go into every detail and decision. Think design meetings, production samples, Pantone and fabric selections, fit and try-on sessions, marketing discussions… the list goes on and on. Plus, there’s that omnipresent feeling of… “ummm… my name is literally on these sleeves.”
Therefore, today – I want to sincerely congratulate Venita on a phenomenal launch with CROSBY by Mollie Burch. The Venita Aspen collection is gorgeous, and I know it’s going to be amazing!
