Can you believe that September is already here? Labor Day has come and gone, and New York Fashion Week is only a few days away. While I’m sad to be missing it (i.e. the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple and the Gigi and Kendall runway sightings), I’m truly excited to watch the shows from afar.

One of my favorite resources for NYFW is Nordstrom – from their blog to their Instagram account, they do an incredible job of keeping shoppers and social media fans alike abreast of all of the key designers, trends, and must-have products from each season. Case and point? Today’s beautiful lace dress. I’m constantly searching Nordstrom’s site for new products, and when I saw this Self-Portrait dress – my jaw hit the floor. After all, a few seasons ago, the brand was still emerging and a cult favorite. See my previous Self-Portrait looks here, here, here, and here (oh, and also here, here and here – lol!)  Now, Nordstrom is bringing the line to their shoppers by picking pieces from the collection that are special, wearable, and truly memorable. I’ve found, season after season, that Nordstrom finds amazing looks that constantly surprise and delight. It’s totally worth refreshing the “What’s New” section of their website pretty much every day!

While I’m prioritizing my full-time job over Fashion Week (and heartbroken to be missing it), I’ve found solace in knowing that Nordstrom will keep me in the loop of everything that I need to know. Cheers to fabulous fall looks and spring 2017 outfit planning 😉

Special thanks to Nordstrom for partnering on this post; all opinions expressed are my own. Sponsorships like these help make Style Charade possible.
