Hi, friends! You’ve been introduced to the Charlotte dress in leaf print, and I’ve previewed one colorway of the Emma pleated maxi dress, and here is the third style from the Sail to Sable x Style Charade collection – the Kenz dress! Sail to Sable’s signature silhouette has been reimagined in the most gorgeous ombré ric rac blues. Shop the entire collection this Tuesday, June 16th at 11 AM CT / 12 PM ET! Each piece will be available in sizes XXS-3X, and a portion of the net proceeds will benefit Feeding America.
This classic tunic dress is the exact style that was my first introduction to the brand.
I initially came across one of Sail to Sable’s tunic dresses while vacationing on Nantucket years ago. We were shopping in Town, and I came across a store called “Into the Pink.” The racks were filled with Sail to Sable tunics in a rainbow of color combinations. From that moment, I was sold on the brand and knew their collection would be a staple in my closet for some time. Ever since, I’ve enjoyed wearing and sharing their pieces in the blog!
This tunic dress is the epitome of summer style! The lightweight linen blend fabric is both breathable and chic. Of the six styles we created, the Kenz dress is the only one to include a side zipper. Plus, like the other sleeveless options, it includes lingerie loops to hold your undergarment in place. Sail to Sable has incorporated ric rac trim on their pieces in a multitude of ways over the years. This time, we decided to go with a “more is more” mindset and completely cover the dress in ric rac!
A couple months after we settled on this design, I discovered these Castañer “Craby” blue ric rac espadrilles! It felt like a sign that this dress was meant to be! Shop the espadrilles here and here, and also the red version here.
The Kenz dress is $198 and will be available to shop exclusively on SailtoSable.com on Tuesday, June 16th.
Why Is It Named the Kenz Dress?
The “Kenz” dress is named after our friend Mackenzie Horan (or “Kenz” to good friends). Beyond a few members of my family, she was one of the first to hear about the capsule line. She’s been a longtime friend and familiar with my long journey to this point after years of trying to get a dress line off the ground (read more about that process here).
I also consider Mackenzie to be the Queen of Nantucket! I often get asked by readers if I have a travel guide for Nantucket, since we travel there each summer. My response is simple – “Sorry – no! Our friend Mackenzie has the ultimate guide for the island. Anyone else creating one would be redundant!” Be sure to check out her guide here! Her family has a long history on the island, and she knows it better than anyone! It was only fitting to name this style after her!
Mark your calendars to shop the capsule collection this Tuesday, June 16th at 11 AM CT / 12 PM ET at SailtoSable.com!
