My Current Sephora Beauty Faves

Over the past few years, I’ve become much more invested in my skincare and beauty routines. Plus, now that I have a bigger bathroom in our new home, the vanity has become stockpiled with products from various brands. As you’ve seen previously, I’ve been loving the Olay Retinol24 line and getting regular use from all three of their products. They’ll continue to be a part of my skincare routine even after my partnership with Olay comes to a conclusion. Anyway, last weekend, I decided to purchase and re-stock some makeup and skincare products as a part of the Sephora Holiday Bonus Event. For today’s post, I thought it would be helpful to share my Sephora beauty faves!

Sephora Holiday Bonus Event

I’ve been a Sephora ROUGE member for years, and I love trying new products and treatments. As a result, I’ve become much more comfortable in my own skin (literally, lol). I’m excited to share details on some of the items that have really helped me feel better about my appearance.

A few are newer-to-me items, and a lot of them I’ve been using for quite some time. Also, to note, this post is not sponsored and I’ve purchased everything pictured with my own money. Moreover, when I do share sponsored or gifted products, I only do so for the ones I really love and have been able to try out for a period of time.

Here are the items to keep on your radar and add to your shopping cart!

Tata Harper Skin Resurfacing Mask

ONE // Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask

Y’all, the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask is the real deal. It’s a new-to-me product, but it’s already a quick favorite! I invested in the 3.55 oz version, and while it’s $150, I don’t regret the decision. Best of all, the consistency allows for it to last a long time. Grace influenced me to buy it after calling it a “holy grail product,” and the mask DOES not disappoint. I put it on 2-3 times per week before bed, and it only takes 20 minutes; my skin feels amazing after I wash it off! It comes with an application brush, and it’s SO soft! Love!

TWO // Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer

A great primer makes all the difference, and Tatcha’s Silk Canvas Primer is so good! Bustle came out with a great article about the product and explained that all Tatcha products look to the traditional geisha beauty routine for inspiration. The Silk Canvas Primer is a modern take on a Japanese wax called Bintsuk that would protect a geisha’s makeup all day. Beyond the beautiful packaging and incredible scent, I love the fact it’s a cleaner beauty option. The Tatcha primer is perfect for face, eyes, and lips!

Murad Invisiscar

THREE // Murad InvisiScar Resurfacing Treatment

Okay, so I only recently started using the InvisiScar product. So far, I’m impressed! After reading reviews, I’m INCREDIBLY excited about the prospect of my acne scars diminishing (even if only a little). I’ve been using it for a week, and I’ll keep you posted—they say to use it twice a day for at least eight weeks. Fingers crossed!

FOUR // Sephora Bronzer Powder

Seeing as so many bronzers can be incredibly expensive (like this one), I’ve been a devotée to Sephora bronzers. I literally buy it in bulk! The price is amazing, and I’ve used it for about a decade. My favorite is Anguilla for colder months when my skin is more pale; I tend to switch to the Bora Bora shade during the summertime.

Becca Cosmetics 24 Hour Foundation

FIVE // Becca Ultimate Coverage 24-Hour Foundation

Full coverage foundation at its finest! Emily recommended this product on her blog, and she immediately sold me after talking about Casey Holmes’s review. I rarely find foundations that can cover my acne scars and hyperpigmentation, and the Becca Foundation WORKS. Plus, it lasts all-day! I just reordered a second bottle for my travel kit! I’ve also been using Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter for the times I want a little extra glow.

SIX // Nudstix Tinted Blur Stick

Contouring has always scared me, but the Nudstix Tinted Blur Stick (shade 7) is dummy proof! I use it to define my cheekbones, chin, nose, and forehead. Best of all, the formula blends easily with my foundation.

SEVEN // FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Pro Filt’r Retouch Setting Powder

Another recommendation from my sweet friend, Emily (she knows SO much about makeup). The FENTY Beauty by Rihanna Pro Filt’r Retouch Setting Powder in lavender and butter. I use the lavender underneath my eye and use the butter for the rest of my face.

EIGHT // FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Setting Brush

One category I’ve been investing a lot more in are makeup brushes. This setting brush is EVERYTHING! It’s no wonder it has a near perfect score on Sephora.

Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer

NINE // Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer

My biggest splurge? The Supersonic Hair Dryer by Dyson in 23.75 Gold! Yes, it’s a HUGE investment, but I factored in the cost-per-use. I tend to wash and dry my hair every 2-3 days, and I really want to keep it as healthy as possible. This version protects from heat damage, and I’ve already seen a big difference! Even my husband has commented on how much smoother my hair has looked lately.

TEN // Farsali Rose Gold 24K Skin Mist

I’ve been on the hunt for a skin mist to set my makeup, and this product is pure MAGIC! The Allure review put me over the edge, and I love the way it refreshes the skin and feels lightweight but also super powerful in keeping makeup in place. Watch this video which highlights four ways to use it!

ELEVEN // NARS Blush in Orgasm + bareMinerals Bounce & Blur Blush

NARS has been a tried and true staple of mine for more than fifteen years, and it never lets me down–it’s a beauty industry favorite for a reason! As an alternative, I’ve decided to test out bareMinerals Bounce & Blur Blush in pink sky after seeing Bailey B’s video review on YouTube.

Bobbi Brown Moisturizing Primer

TWELVE // Too Faced Born This Way Concealer

Who wants a cakey-like concealer? No, thank you! The perfectly smooth texture is why this version is absolutely superb! I have it in two shades: Porcelain for when I’m going for a lighter look and Ivory for when I’m slightly more sunkissed.

THIRTEEN // bareMinerals Concealer Brush

To my earlier point, I’ve been investing in better makeup brushes lately, and this bareMinerals Concealer brush has been fabulous when paired with the Too Faced foundation.

FOURTEEN // Olaplex Shampoo and Conditioner

My hair stylist, Lilli, recommended Olaplex to develop healthier hair. Since I have highlights, she advised me to invest in Olaplex shampoo and conditioner in order to to strengthen my strands. Trust me, it has been a godsend! In fact, I always pack my Olaplex for my work trips since there’s a noticeable difference when I don’t use it. As I always say, “In Lilli we trust.” She’s so knowledgeable with hair, and I take all of her recommendations seriously!

FIFTEEN // Dior Pump ‘N’ Brown

I recently added this to my shopping bag as a part of my Sephora holiday haul. For years, I’ve been using this eyebrow kit staple. I’m excited to change things up and to see if I like this item in the dark brown hue. After reading The Zoe Report’s review, I had to check it out. Supposedly, it’s waterproof and helps keeps hairs in place. I’m packing it for my upcoming trip to Finland which will be a great test to see if it works!

BONUS ALL-STAR ITEMS

If you’ve made it this far in to the blog post, first off congratulations! I’ve really enjoyed putting all of this together, and I’m going to let you in on a few more must-buys for the Sephora Holiday Bonus Event. These additional items are some of my personal faves (and all of them have superb ratings on Sephora’s website).

Osle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops

BONUS #1 // Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Highlighter Wand

Since I’m not a makeup guru, highlighter can be quite intimidating. However, this product (I use the radiant finish) is completely fool-proof! I love adding it to the top of my cheekbones to give added glam and light.

BONUS #2 // Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops

Grace was the first person I noticed to rave about these tanning drops, and now I’m seeing them EVERYWHERE. It’s on Sephora’s bestselling skincare products tab, and I’m not at all surprised. Just add 3 drops to your moisturizer and you’ll wake up with a dewy glow (just make sure to wash your hands thoroughly after you apply it to your face and neck)! My go-to is the medium shade.

BONUS #3 // Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base Priming Moisturizer

OH. MY. GOSH. I love this product more than I could ever explain! First, the smell is INTOXICATING! I alternate between using this item and the Tatcha primer, and I adore them both. The Bobbi Brown version is a cream-based moisturizing primer, so I tend to use it when I feel the need for extra skin hydration. The Tatcha is a priming balm and also great for everyday use.

BONUS #4 // Sephora Brush Cleaner

Keeping your makeup brushes clean is critical! I’ve been using Sephora’s Brush Cleaner forever, and it’s super afforDABLE. AT $14, Even the larger size is a great price–plus, it smells amazing.
