Two years ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Ocean House Rhode Island with the team at vineyard vines for their Holiday 2019 collection photo shoot. Looking back, it’s easy a return to Ocean House was in order. When the Sail to Sable team and I designed the Spring 2021 capsule, we wanted to bring it to life in a fun yet different way. Therefore, when they mentioned the idea of doing a trip to Ocean House… I was 100% in!
Hi, friends! Happy Memorial Day. First, I want to share my sincere gratitude for the military personnel who passed away while honorably performing their duties serving the United States Armed Forces. Furthermore, my heart goes out to the families and friends who sacrificed so much, as well. I hope we all take a moment to honor their lives and legacies today and always.
Today, I’m excited to take you behind-the-scenes of H&M’s newest designer capsule line – the H&M Brock Collection. Launching (supposedly) June 24th in select stores and also online, the H&M Brock Collection features an elevated array of womenswear, jewelry, handbags, shoes and accessories. As expected, the collection embodies the Los Angeles laid-back cool of their main line.
Over the years, I’ve worn a LOT of dresses from this brand. However, this orange floral option had me at hello. The pop of color, bold print and unique silhouette make for the perfect option for work to weekend.
This probably comes as no surprise, but I packed quite a few dresses for our recent trip to LA. One favorite was this pink organza dress. I live for the layers, ruffles, and statement sleeves. The London-based brand has so many dreamy, romantic pieces that you will absolutely adore!
Confession time: I’m a dress girl. Okay, maybe not exactly a confession, lol. In all seriousness, I struggle to find tops that I like, much less love. Seriously. In fact, if you look at my closet, about 80% of the pieces are dresses. Therefore, I am always shocked to find tops that I love, like this Lilly Pulitzer Eyelet Ruffle top.
Do you ever find that new summer sandals take forever to “break in?” Not this style. They were perfectly comfortable at the very first step!
