Two years ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Ocean House Rhode Island with the team at vineyard vines for their Holiday 2019 collection photo shoot. Looking back, it’s easy a return to Ocean House was in order. When the Sail to Sable team and I designed the Spring 2021 capsule, we wanted to bring it to life in a fun yet different way. Therefore, when they mentioned the idea of doing a trip to Ocean House… I was 100% in!
Emily, we were doing so well. You were exploring Paris in beautiful clothes, sipped champagne and trying to climb the corporate latter. In fact, we even have a lot in common – we’re both from Chicago, work in the communications field and to love all things travel. #besties
To say I was excited to spend a few days in Palm Springs would be an understatement. Last weekend’s trip was the perfect reprieve from the cold and sporadic Chicago weather. Moreover, the California desert has long been one of my favorite places to unwind. When packing for this trip, my new Persifor rainbow Poppy dress was at the top of my list.
I absolutely love a colorful kaftan – especially when in Palm Springs. This printed design is just divine, and I really can’t think of a more effortless style for the perfect vacation.
