When I was in London last week, I brought along one of my favorite colorful coats. It was a pink topcoat from J.Crew that I bought a couple years ago. Every single time I wear it, I receive so many compliments. However, I also hear people say “I wish I could wear that color.” Inevitably, I think to myself, “what’s holding you back?” In my opinion, a colorful coat, jacket, or blazer is the easiest way to introduce something more vivid to your wardrobe.
I love how an otherwise simple look becomes way more elevated by a colorful coat. To help illustrate this point, I thought I’d round up some of my favorite looks that incorporated bright jackets, pastel blazers, and bold coats.
