Of all the spring 2019 fashion collections, it was Lela Rose’s who caught my attention most. I’m pretty sure I lost another gig of memory space on my phone from all the screenshots I saved! Not only was the locale of the presentation amazing (a docked boat bar complete with striped awnings), but the clothing was beyond classic! From gorgeous gingham to stunning stripes and fancy florals, all the looks were simply phenomenal. My favorite? This stripe midi skirt in coral paired with a citrine crop top. When I saw them both amongst Hampden Clothing’s new arrivals, I knew they had to be mine! Leave it to Stacy & Co. to get it right once again!
For me, I found the pieces to fit pretty true to size (if you’re in between, I suggest sizing down in the top). Best of all, both are so easy to mix and match with pretty much anything in your closet. I also found a similar (and more affordable) version of the skirt here – except it’s definitely shorter. I’m also living for this pink and white stripe dress from the collection. So darling!
