Hi, friends! How was your holiday weekend? I hope you had a safe, fun, and relaxing Thanksgiving. Frankly, Bob and I kept things pretty quiet over the holiday break. We caught up on Netflix, Hulu, and a bunch of movies and shows that we haven’t had time to see. Additionally, we cooked a lot and tried new recipes like this scalloped potato dish. So good! Additionally, I took advantage of some Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. A few weeks ago, I got access to an early Black Friday code, and decided to buy this stunning LoveShackFancy pink coat.
I LOVE finding (and investing) in colorful winter coats. In fact, last year, I told Bob it was the “year of the coat.” As a lifelong Chicagoan, I should own a lot of coats. After all, when the weather drops below 0 degrees, good coats are not only needed – they’re required. 🙂
LoveShackFancy Pink Coat
Well, last year – I did invest in a couple new coat styles, and I was thrilled with what I had picked. However, in typical Jenn Lake fashion, I accidentally lost one of them. Ugh.
I was sitting in the United Club at Newark Airport with a long layover. Anyway, I lost track of time and looked down at my phone to realize my flight was boarding. I was pretty far from the gate. I grabbed my luggage and ran out of the club (thankfully making it on-board with time to spare). However, my gorgeous new pink coat? Welp, I had left it draped over the chair next to me and totally forgot to grab it. Sigh.
Anyway, it gave me a reason to find a new pink coat that I adore and love. This LoveShackFancy pink coat was the perfect choice. From the length to the color and the gorgeous brooches, I love every single detail of the piece.

Hi! I was eyeing your Bloomsbury bag and I love it!! What is your opinion? Does that color go with a lot? It either between that or the black.. also is there enough room inside to hold a long wallet keys phone and a compact? I was thinking it’s so functional for an everyday bag to run errands and also a night out. Please advise and your pink coat is fab ?
Thanks lady! It’s beautifully constructed, there’s definitely room for my iPhone 11 Pro (with phone folio), keys, compact, etc. I find the brown pairs well with so many of my simple blue jeans looks as well as my pastel outfits. The black looks so chic, too – you can’t go wrong. Best of all, I love that it’s a female-founded small business!!
