Over the years, I’ve loved seeing creators work with brands to design capsule collections. One of my more recent faves? The Nat Note Dillards collection. For the holiday season, Natalie worked with Dillard’s again to release her second ever collection. Think fun, colorful, and memorable party dresses for all special occasions. I always sincerely appreciate her unique point of view. This colorful striped dress and matching shoes from her first capsule are some of my most worn pieces. Love!

This new Nat Note Dillards collection focuses on all things parties and special occasions. I’m especially impressed with the phenomenal range of options – including holiday dresses, gowns, outerwear, accessories, and beyond.
Overall, the collection embodies whimsy and fun – exactly the vibe you want for holiday pieces. In general, Natalie has always had a unique point of view when it comes to fashion and style. Therefore, it’s a joy to watch her really bring that to life through this second capsule.

Once the preview came out, I was immediately drawn to this piece. Isn’t this party dress so fun? Perfect for cocktail parties and other holiday events. I’m a sucker for anything embellished, sparkly, or shiny. This fits the bill! The embellished novelty fabrication is truly fabulous, and I love how the mirrored sequins and rhinestones catch the light.
Beyond styling it with statement earrings and accessories, I also love you can dress this down slightly with a white button-down shirt, turtleneck, or black blazer.

Delfina Color Block Taffeta Strapless Sheath Bow Maxi Dress
Coming up, Bob and I have a few events where we’ll be dressing up in more formal attire. Dressing up for black tie occasions can be stressful. Some gowns are too expensive and others are just… boring. I’ve truly struggled to find items that feel like a reflection of my personal style and also within a reasonable price point.
So for months, I’ve been searching for a great gown for one of the experiences. I was relieved when I stumbled upon this color block taffeta gown. It’s perfect! First, I love the back bow detail. Feminine and very elegant. It almost has a vintage vibe, which is right up my alley.
Also, isn’t the color combination fabulous? So fresh and unique. I styled it with this fringe handbag, which is one of my favorite holiday styles of the season (and currently on sale).
