The launch of the Sail to Sable x Style Charade collection is only days away, and I’m thrilled to share the next preview! When we were designing the capsule collection, I knew we needed a midi dress. To me a midi is an ideal length when you’re looking to just lounge at home, and it’s probably the style of dress I wear the most. Therefore we took Sail to Sable’s exclusive hand-painted leaf print and designed the Anne dress.
Beyond thrilled to introduce you to the Sail to Sable x Style Charade “Kenz” Dress. Sail to Sable’s signature silhouette has been reimagined in the most gorgeous ombré ric rac blues.
I am beyond excited to share one of six styles from the Sail to Sable x Style Charade capsule collection – the Charlotte dress! How did I come up with the names? Every piece in the collection is named after (or for) a woman who’s inspired me in some way. A few have very unique stories or just a special meaning. This one falls in the latter category.
“Charlotte” happens to be the baby name I’ve had in mind if we ever had a daughter. Have you seen “That One With the Birth” episode of Friends? To summarize, Monica shares her she’s already picked the names of her future children (which is seriously common among so many of friends). Well, “Charlotte” is my “Emma.”
Since the launch of Style Charade, public art and murals have been at the core of my content. From Chicago to New York, Los Angeles and Miami, I’ve loved curating Wall Guides to help readers locate the colorful scenes and celebrate the artists. In many ways, street art is a significant part of my storytelling and brand. One of the reasons why I’ve always loved murals and public art is because they often share a message, support a cause, and/or make a neighborhood more beautiful.
Over the past week, I’ve been participating in the Amplified Voices movement. For those who might be unfamiliar, the concept asked brands, influencers, and individuals to re-evaluate their current practices and educate themselves on topics of racism.
As we continue to social distance for at least another month, I’ve taken on a new hobby – home organization. Every drawer, cupboard, and closet has become a fresh “project” for me to take on. My first one? Our pantry!
Another week has come and gone. How are you, friends? A few recent updates – as you know, COVID-19 has greatly impacted countless jobs and industries. The PR/marketing industry has been hit exceptionally hard. I’m incredibly thankful to still have my full-time job. The pandemic (and working from home) has made me more productive than ever.
As one of Lilly Pulitzer’s 2020 Brand BFF’s, I’m delighted to share details on the Lilly Pulitzer Spring 2020 Sale! There’s something so wonderful about wearing clothing and accessories with happy colors and pretty prints, you know?
